Here you will find a form to select the target Career, Areas and Specilizations.

  Search for Courses

• You can Select one or more fields. Selecting more fields will search the database for more specific matches.
• Once you submit, available courses will appear in a table.
• You can click on each row to find more information about each course.

You can email the results to any email address using the button at the bottom of the search results.

  Press the button to get Career Advice

You will see a pop-up window with a set of questions. Answer all the questions honestly and submit.

• You will see results showing how smart you are in seven different ways
• We will explain your highest 3 areas
• You will be shown the best suitable careers for you
• You will also be shown a table displaying available courses based on your highest qualification
• You can click on each row to find more information about each course.

You can email the results to any email address using the button at the bottom of the search results.

You can also delete the results by pressing the "RESET CAREER ADVICE RESULTS" button

  View and Understand Higher Education Options and Pathways

From any page, click "USEFUL INFORMATION" on menu bar

On "USEFUL INFORMATION" page, click on "HIGHER EDUCATION OPTIONS"

You will see a diagram showing different higher education qualifications

What is the Qualification you already have? Try to find it on the picture. The boxes on the right show the nest steps in your higher education path

  Get Career Advice to Make Sure You are on the Right Path

Go to the CAREER GUIDANCE page from the main menu bar

Get Career advice. Press the button and answer all the questions. Make sure to correctly select the current highest qualification

The career advice will help you to understand whether you are on the right path in-terms of your skills and aspirations

You can get an ide about available courses as well

  Search All Available Courses in Your Chosen Area

Find a course by going to the "FIND A COURSE" page and searching according to your prefered area ans specilizations

  One Simple Advice on Selecting A/L subjects

This is the best time to get Career Advice!

Make sure you select the A/L subject stream for the right reason. Having good O/L results does not mean you should choose Sience or Maths!. Do not select because of your friends choice!

  Press the button to get Career Advice

You will see a pop-up window with a set of questions. Answer all the questions honestly and submit. Make sure that you select O/L (or London O/L) as the current highest qualification

  View Your Personal Career Advice

This is the best time to think about A/L subject stream you are going to select. Make sure that you select the subjects that will lead to a higher education path that suits your skills (smart areas) and career aspirations

Note that A/L stream is not very significant in entering into foreign degree programs, except for highly specialised programs such as Medicine

Get informaion about state universities and future Degree Pathways based on selected A/L subject stream from the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka (more information will be added here in the future)
